The competition from The Welsh Writers Trust and Parthian Books is for young Welsh writers between 17 and 24
Writers are asked to submit poetry, fiction, drama or non-fiction on the theme of 'out of the ashes: overcoming adversity'. Writers may submit up to 1,500 words of prose, or up to three poems. The competition will be judged by Rachel Trezise (pictured).
The winner of the Robin Reeve Prize for New Writers will receive £500, and there are runners-up prizes of £100 and £50. The winning and shortlisted entries will be published in an anthology.
There is a £5 fee for entry.
The closing date is 15 June.
