Every week Hour of Writes holds a new peer-reviewed competition where writers have one hour to enter a piece of writing in response to that week's title
Each weekly contest involves a timed hour of writing with a new title each week. Writers may enter at any point during the five-day competition period (from 12am Monday to 11pm Friday). Once entrants click 'start' they have one hour to complete their entry. The word limit is always 2,000 words. Entries may be fiction, non-fiction, poetry, drama or any other form of creative writing in response to that week's theme.
As part of the entry process, each entrant must anonymously judge three other entrants' work.
The winner of each week's Hour of Writes contest receives half of the fees received for that week's competition. A single entry credit costs £3.
This week's title, which closes at 11pm tonight, is Cup of Tea.
