Submit your work in progress by 30 June

Agora Books' Lost the Plot Work in Progress Prize closes on 30 June.

Winners will receive a consultation with a PFD agent and publisher and feedback on their manuscript.

‘Our biggest ethos when we started Agora was to stop hiding your work,’ said Agora Books Samantha Brace. ‘We wanted authors to dig their manuscripts out of their desk drawers, search them out on their old hard drives, and get them out into the open. Letting anyone else read your work is always so intimidating – having to let your writing speak for itself. And I think the Lost the Plot competition does a little to dispel some of that anxiety as it’s on a work in progress. It’s about trying, getting feedback, and developing your work, and hopefully growing your own talent.’
