Travel writer and editor Don George is inviting submissions for the 2016 Lonely Planet literary anthology
Don says: 'For the 2016 Lonely Planet literary anthology, to be published this November, I’m looking for original, unpublished stories describing a particularly transformational, life-enhancing, and life-changing travel experience. I’m open to all kinds of experiences in all kinds of settings, but the stories must be of the highest literary quality and must convey a sense of the experience’s larger meaning and lesson. Humorous stories are welcome. I’m looking for pieces of from 1,000-3,000 words. Deadline for submissions is March 15. All submissions are on speculation. Stories should be emailed to [email protected]. Please put LP ANTHOLOGY in the subject line. Thank you! PS -- To get a sense of the kinds of stories I'm looking for, take a look at this year's anthology, Better Than Fiction 2.'
