Join First Story's #274 Challenge – and encourage young writers in particular to get involved!
First Story's #247 challenge invites everyone to write 24 words in 7 minutes, starting with the prompt 'One Day...'. The best pieces wil be showcased in an onlien exhibition and archived in the British Library.
National Writing Day is all about celebrating the pleasure and positive benefits of creative writing.
To encourage young people to get started with the #247 challenge, the First Story website features free resources including advice from Frank Cottrell-Boyce and Mark Haddon, interviews with Cressida Cowell and Jackie Kay, top-quality learnign materials for teachers and parents, and much more!
