The Word Factory, which puts on literary short story salons with some of the form’s finest contemporary practitioners, is running the seminar on 27 April.
In a day at The Society Club moderated by Cathy Galvin, who set up the Sunday Times EFG Private Bank Short Story Competition, seminar participants will be joined by leading writers Michele Roberts and Adam Marek and Conville & Walsh literary agent Carrie Kania.

In the evening, Lionel Shriver will be in conversation wth Cathy Galvin.
The seminar costs £195 and includes lunch, snacks, coffee, tea, wine and a book-related goody bag. Spaces are limited to 15 students.
