Bookshops are keeping the closely-guarded novel for adults by Harry Potter writer J K Rowling under wraps until it goes on sale at 8am tomorrow

Bookshops selling The Casual Vacancy have had to sign legal agreements that they will not reveal the book until it goes on sale tomorrow.

The book's already a bestseller, with pre-orders of a million copies.

J K Rowling has revealed that The Casual Vacancy is about a middle-class community's reaction to a local election result. She's described it as 'a comic tragedy.'
