A one-day seminar for writers who want to find their voice and get published
The Word Factory, which puts on literary short story salons with some of the form’s finest contemporary practitioners, is running The Art of Story Writing, an intimate one-day seminar on 27 April .
In a day for writers aimed at finding your voice and getting published, seminar participants will be joined by leading writers Michele Roberts and Adam Marek and Conville & Walsh literary agent Carrie Kania. In the evening, Lionel Shriver will be in conversation wth Cathy Galvin.
The Art of Story Writing will take place at The Society Club, moderated by Cathy Galvin, who set up the Sunday Times EFG Private Bank Short Story Competition.

The seminar costs £195 and includes lunch, snacks, coffee, tea, wine and a book-related goody bag. Spaces are limited to 15 students.
