All submissions should be previously unpublished, and the maximum wordcount is 5,000.
Slice is a non-profit US literary magazine that aims to bridge the gap between published and emerging writers by printing their work side by side. Each issue has a specific cultural theme. Slice pays all contributors: $100 for prose and $25 for poetry.
Submissions for the resistance-themed issue should be submitted via the online submission system by the closing date of 1 August.
