The first Credition Short Story Competition invites entries on the theme of 'generations'
The prize in the 16/18 and over category, which is for short stories up to 3,000 words, is £50 and a night's stay in the Lamb Inn, Sandford. Prizes will be awarded at the Crediton Festival Finale on 11 July.
Winners in the younger writers categories (12 to 16/18 and 5-7 or 8-11) will receive book tokens.
There is a £5 entry fee per story.
The closing date for the Crediton Short Story Competition is 24 April.
