Win a £1,000 first prize for a short story up to 4,000 words

The Bristol Short Story Prize is open to all writers, anywhere in the world, published or unpublished.

The first prize is £1,000. There are second and third prizes of £500 and £250, and 17 further shortlisted writers will each receive £100. All the winning entries will be published in the Bristol Prize Anthology Volume 13.

To enter, send original, unpublished short stories in any style or genre, up to 4,000 words.

There is an entry fee of £9 per story.

The closing date is 30 April 2020.
