Scriptwriting prize: C21 Drama Series Script Competition

Win $10,000 for a pilot episide script for a drama series

The competition, produced in association with Studio 21, Script Angel and WritersRoom, is looking for six outstanding scripts to compete for the grand $10,000 prize at the International Drama Summit, part of Content London in November.

The finalists will present their scripts to a panel from the global drama industry, including commissioners from Nexflix, Amazon and Hulu and broadcasters including BBC and C4. Finalists will also have the chance to engage with WritersRoom to develop the project during Content London, and a script consultancy from Script Angel. The winner will receive a S10,000 script option from Script Angel and be developed for series.

Any writer many enter. Send original, unsold and unoptioned pilot episode scripts no longer than 60 minutes for a drama series with global appeal, and a treatment.

There is an entry fee of £40.

The closing date is 4 October.
