There's still time to enter and win production of a short film with a budget of at least £5,000
Entries of short scripts between 3 and 13 pages are invited from writers all over the world. The winning script will be produced by Shore Films. Screenplays may be on any theme, and must be original. To be eligible to enter, writers or writing teams must not have earned more than £20,000 in screenwriting fees since 2006.
There is an entry fee of £20.
The closing date to enter Shore Scripts Short Film Fund is 31 May.
• 31 May is also the early deadline (ie lowest level of entry fee) to enter Shore Scripts' contests for feature scripts (£5,000 in prizes), TV pilot screenplays (£500 first prize) and short scripts (£500 first prize). The regular deadline is 31 July and the late deadline is 31 August.
