The two awards from the Alliance of Radical Booksellers are open for submissions
• The Bread and Roses Award for Radical Publishing is for non-fiction informed by socialist, anarchist, feminist, environmental and anti-racist concerns that inspires, supports or reports on political and/or personal change. Books must have been physically published between 1 January and 31 January 2014, and should be submitted by agents and/or publishers. The winner of the Bread and Roses Award for Radical Publishing will receive £500. The closing date for nominations is 1 January.
• The Little Rebels Children's Book Award is for radical children's fiction published in 2014. Books must have been published in physical book form, and should be submitted by agents and/or publishers. There will be a cash prize (amount TBC) for the winner. The closing date for nominations to the Little Rebels Children's Book Award is 12 January.
The winners of both awards will be announced at the Alliance of Radical Booksellers London Book Fair on 9 May.
