Poetry prizes: Mslexia Poetry and Pamphlet competitions 2021

Prizes in the competitions for poetry by women include £2,000 and publication

Mslexia's two annual poetry competitions are for single poems and poetry pamphlets.

• Women's Poetry Competition 2021: The competition is for original, unpublished poems of any length. The first prize is £2,000 and there are second and third prizes of £500 and £250. There is is also an Unpublished Poet prize of £250 for the best poem by a previously unpublished poet. The winners and 16 finalists will have their poems published in Mslexia. This year's judge is Pascale Petit. The entry fee is £10 for up to three poems.

• Women's Pamphlet Competition 2021: The competition is for unpublished collections of up to 24 pages of up to 20 poems. Poems may have been published previously, but not as a collection. The prize is £250 plus publication by Seren Books, and publication of a selected poem from the collection in Mslexia. The entry fee is £20.
