Win a £250 first prize for poems no longer than 40 lines
The Wirral Poetry Festival Open Poetry Competition is inviting entries of original, unpublished poems on any theme.
The first prize is £250 and there are four runners-up prizes of £25. For the Wirral Prizes for entries by Wirral writers, the prizes are £100 for first and £25 each for two runners up. The judges are Helen Ivory and Martin Figura for the Open Poetry Prizes and Pauline Rowe for the Wirral Prizes.
The entry fee is £4 per poem or £10 for three poems.
The closing date is 31 May.
