The annual contest from Ver Poets has a first prize of £600
The competition, which will be judged by André Mangeot, is for original, unpublished poems no longer than 30 lines.
The winner will receive £600 and there are second and third prizes of £300 and £100. Winning and selected poems will be published in the competition anthology.
The entry fee is £4 for one poem, £10 for three, and £3 per poem thereafter. A donation will be made from the competition proceeds to Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline.
