The first prize in the contest from Girton College is £700
Now in its thirteenth year, the Jane Martin Poetry Prize is for poets aged 18 to 30.
The winner will receive £700 and the opportunity to read their poems at a live or virtual award event. The runner up will receive £300. The 2023 judges include poets Rebecca Watts and Adam Crothers.
Previous winners may be read in the book Celebrating Poetry at Girton, which celebrates ten years of the Jane Martin Poetry Prize.
Entry is free. Each poet may send up to two poems totalling no more that two sides of A4.
The closing date is 17 March.
