The winner of SPM's new competition will have their collection published and win a cash prize of £500
The competition comes from SPM Publications, which is an imprint of Sentinel Writing & Publishing Company Ltd. It is for a collection of 20 poems.
There are second prizes of publication and £250 and publication and £125.
All collections entered in the SPM Publications Poetry Books Competition should be titled.
The initial submission should be of 20 pages of previously unpublished poems. Longlisted and shortlisted poets will be asked to produce a full collection, which may include poems that have been published elsewhere.
There is an entry fee of £25 for each collection.
The closing date is 31 March.
