This year's contest has an ecopoetry and place theme
This year's Manchester Cathedral Poetry Competition invites original, unpublished poems no longer than 30 lines in any style or form on this year's theme.
Entry can be from poets of any, or no, faith.
The first prize is £200, and there are second and third prizes of £50 and £25.
The first entry is free, and then £5 per poem.
The closing date is 23 October.
