There's still time to enter, and £2,000 in poetry prizes to be won!

The Café Writers Open Poetry Competition 2017, which closes on 30 November, is for poems in any style and on any subject, up to 40 lines. The sole judge is poet Liz Berry (pictured).

The first prize is £1,000. There are second and third prizes of £300 and £200, and six commended poets will each win £50. There is also a £100 prize for the funniest poem, and the £100 Norfolk Prize for the best poem by a Norfolk resident.

The entry fee is £4 per poem or £10 for three, and £2 per poem thereafter.

Enter by the closing date of 30 November.
