The Fenton Aldeburgh First Collection Prize is awarded for a first collection of poetry of at least 40 pages
Collections should have been first published in the UK and Republic of Ireland between 1 August 2012 and 31 July 2013.
The winner will receive £2,000, a week of paid writing time on the East Sussex coast, and a paid commission to read at the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival.
The competition may be entered by individual poets, or by publishers acting on their behalf.
To enter, send three bound copies with a note of the date of publication by the closing date of 26 July.
The winner of the Fenton Aldeburgh First Collection Prize will be announced at the opening main reading at the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival on 8 November.
