Write a limerick or haiku to win two tickets to the Cornish boutique festival

The Poetry Stage made its debut at last year's Port Eliot Festival, held at the St Germans estate in Cornwall, which in the 1980s was the home of the Elephant Fayre festival. Poet Heathcote Williams wrote a haiku for the Elephant Fayre: A year in the making / Four days to devour / A long time to forget. It sparked the idea for a new poetry competition for a haiku or limerick about the Port Eliot Festival.

The winner will receive two festival tickets and their work will be read on the Poetry Stage. This year's Port Eliot Festival takes place between 26 and 29 July.

Entry is free. The closing date is 13 June.
