The competition from Parkinson's Art is for poems that come to life when spoken aloud
The competition is on the same theme as Parkinson's Art's summer art exhibition, and will support Parkinson's research.
All entries should be original, unpublished poems on the 'Vivid Dreams' theme, no longer than 30 lines. Entries must consist of a written version and a recording of the poet reading the poem.
The top three winners in each category will have their poem and recording featured in the exhibition, and will receive a cash prize equal to 50% of the ticket sales.
In the open category, entry is £8 per poem, or three poems for £20.
The closing date is 17 July.
