The annual competition has a $10,000 first prize for a single poem
Ten finalists will each receive £200, and be eligible for the $2,000 Reader's Choice Award. All the finalists will be published in Rattle magazine. Additional poems from among the entries may also be offered publication.
The Rattle Poetry Prize is open to poets all over the world. The entry fee is a one-year subscription to Rattle ($20) and it covers up to four poems. There is no restriction on length. All poems must be original and unpublished.
The closing date is 15 July.
Rattle is published quarterly, and features approximately 100 pages of poetry and an interview with a contemporary poet in each issue.
