Win £1,000 and £400 first prizes in the competition from the Arran Theatre and Arts Trust
The McLellan Poetry Prize, now in its 17th year, is run by the Arran Theatre and Arts Trust as part of the annual McLellan Arts Festival.
Entries are invited of original, unpublished poems up to 40 lines, in English or Scots.
The winner in the English language category will receive £1,000. The second prize is £300 and third, £100. Five commendations will each receive £25. This year's judge in the English language category is Joelle Taylor.
The winner in the Scots language category will receive £400, and the runner up will get £100. The judge in the Scots language category is Hugh McMillan.
The entry fee is £8 for the first poem and £5 for any additional poems.
The closing date is 10 July.
