This year's competition is for poems on the theme of travel
The Kipling Society John McGivering Poetry Prize is for original, unpublished poems up to 35 lines, on the theme of travel.
There are prizes of £350, £100 and £50. This year's judge is Harry Ricketts. Winning poems will be published in the Kipling Society Journal and online.
There is an entry fee of £5 per poem.
The closing date is 1 May.
