The world's only celebration of the literature of feline mortality is inviting entries
The Dead Cat Poetry Prize launched in 2021. This is the third iteration of the prize. Enter original, unpublished poems featuring dead cats up to 60 lines.
The closing date is 17 March, the feast day of St Gertrude de Nivelles, the patron saint of cats.
Each writer may send up to two poems.
There is no entry fee but donations are welcome.
