Frome Festival has launched its new poetry contest in memory of local poet Crysse Morrison
The Crysse Morrison Prize for Poetry will be given for original, unpublished poems up to 40 lines.
There are prizes of £200, £100 and £75, plus a three-day writers' retreat. There is also a local writers' prize for writers living within 75 miles of Frome, of £75 and a three-day writing retreat.
The entry fee is £4 per poem.
The closing date is 31 May.
