Fly on the Wall Press's contest is for social change and peace poetry
Now in its fifth year, the competition from Fly on the Wall Press, which publishes political fiction, poetry and cross-genre anthologies on pressing issues, is in honour of author, activist and Buddhist Olga Kenyon (Aryamati), who died in 2014.
This year the prize has evolved to publish a full collection winner (100 pages) and a pamphlet winner (30 pages). Winners will also receive £100-worth of Fly on the Wall books and 100 postcards with a chosen poem printed on them.
Individual poems within the collections may have been previously published.
The entry fee is £4 for people who have purchased an Aryamati Prize winning pamphlet in 2023, or £11 (£5 if in receipt of state benefits).
The closing date is 28 August.
