Win a first prize of £1,000 in the Guernsey International Poetry Competition 2022

The Guernsey International Poetry Competition for Poems on the Move is part of the Guernsey Literature Festival, and winning entries will be displayed on Guernsey buses and also in a display at Guernsey Airport, then all over the islands.

There are three categories. In the Open Poetry Category, the prizes are £1,000, £500 and £200 and the entry fees are £4 for one poem and £10 for three. In the Channel Islands Poetry category, for writers aged over 18 born or resident in the Channel Islands, the prizes are £250, £50 and £30 and the entry fees are £4 for one and £10 for three. In the Young People's category for poets aged 11-17, the prizes are £250, £50 and £30 and entry is free. This year the competition will be judged by Michael Symmons Roberts.

All entries should be no longer than 14 lines.

The closing date is 17 February.
