Win prizes for poems about memories and caring for someone with memory loss

There are two categories in the competition, which is part of the National Memory Day project. The National Memory Day Prize, sponsored by LiteratureWorks and judged by Miriam Darlington is for poems on the theme of 'memories'. The Primary Carer Voice Prize, sponsored by The Alzheimer's Society, is for people who have direct experience of caring for someone with memory loss. The prizes in each category are £700, £200 and £100.

To enter, send original, unpublished poems up to 40 lines.

The entry fee is £3 for one poem and £2 for any subsequent poems.

The closing date is 5 October.
