Poetry competition: Fool for Poetry

Munster Literature Centre is inviting entries for its annual Fool for Poetry International Chapbook Competition

The competition, which was first established in 2005, is open internationally to new, emerging and established poets. There is a first prize of €1,000 and a second prize of €500. Both winners will have their chapbook published by Southword Editions and receive 25 copies. One of the winners will be a poet who has not previously published chapbook or collection.

To enter, send between 16 and 24 pages of original poems in verse or prose.

The entry fee is €25 per chapbook.
