The Cafe Writers Poetry Competition 2014, which has a first prize of £1,000, closes on 30 November
The competition is for poems of up to 40 lines. In addittion to the £1,000 first prize, there is a second prize of £300, a second of £200, six commended prizes of £50, £100 for the funniest poem not winning another prize, and a Norfolk Prize of £100.
There is a fee of £4, or three poems for £10.
Why not spend the weekend polishing a poem (or three) to enter this competition?
