Win a £200 first prize and be crowned Poet of the Year in the 15th annual contest from Canterbury Festival
The international competition is for original, unpublished poems up to 60 lines. Poems may be on any subject, in any style or form.
The winner will receive £200. The second-placed poet gets £100 and the third, £50. All the longlisted poems will be published in an anthology, and there is a £25 People's Choice prize of the audience's choice from the included poems. The Best-Read Poem on the Awards Evening, which will take place on 7 October (Covid regulations permitting), will get a bottle of sparkling wine.
The entry fee is £5 per poem.
