The award is for the best original stage play by a young writer of African or Caribbean descent
Writers submitting for the Mustapha Matura Award should be under 25. Submit original stage plays in English that are either unproduced, or produced since August 2022.
The winner will receive £3,000 and mentoring from a black British playwright.
Entry is free. Each playwright may submit only one play.
