The competition for unpublished novelists invites writers to submit their first chapter. Entrants will be allocated a heat to attend, where they will read for three minutes and answer questions from a panel of judges. Heats take place during the week beginning 23 April.

The final will take place at WowFest on Friday 27 May.

The finalists' first chapters will be published in an ebook. The overall winner's work will be read by an agent and publisher.
