Three winners will each receive $1,000 and publication
CRAFT magazine's competition invites international entries of creative non-fiction up to 6,000 words.
Three winners will each get $1,000, a complete set of Graywolf Press's The Art Of series, and publication in CRAFT with an Author's Note essay to accompany their piece. Two writers chosen as the editor's choice will both get $300, a complete set of The Art Of series, and publication in CRAFT with an Author's Note essay. The competition will be judged by Ira Sukrungruang.
Enter original, unpublished creative non-fiction, including memoir, lyric essay, personal essays, narrative nonfiction and experimental prose.
The entry fee is $20, which allows one piece of creative non-fiction between 1,001 and 6,000 words or two flash piece of creative non-fiction up to 1,000 words.
The closing date is 30 December.
