The inaugural contest is for writers aged 18-30
The Stuart Hall Essay Prize from the Stuart Hall Foundation is for new writing that connects with Professor Stuart Hall's ideas and contributes to a radical critique of contemporary society.
The winner will receive £2,000.
Essays may be on any topic and should be between 4,500 and 5,000 words.
