The annual RSL awards are for first-time writers of non-fiction
The RSL Giles St Aubyn Awards for Non-Fiction were launched by the Royal Society of Literature in 2017 thanks to a bequest from author Giles St Aubyn, who died in 2015. They are intended to support new writers to complete their first book of non-fiction.
This year's judges are Richard Holmes, Afua Hirsch and Fiona St Aubyn. Writers may submit themselves, and agents and publishers may submit on an author's behalf.
The closing date to submit for the 2023 award is 25 August.
