Providing all writers with a one-stop shop for everything they need to know about the writing world. The app serves 3 key purposes: To inform, inspire and encourage. These are delivered through industry news and publishing opportunities, idea generation with daily prompts and exercises, plus competitions to win cash and publication.

Writing Magazine editor Jonathan Telfer says, “We’re really excited to be launching The Writer’s App, as another way for writers to get the information and encouragement they need, complementing our existing offerings through Writing Magazine, Writers Online and our Creative Writing Courses.

With our busy lifestyles we don’t always have the chance to set aside time to look for ideas and opportunities online, so the idea of The Writer’s App is that we do the legwork for you, and present only the ones you want to see in bitesize, easy to digest format, ideal for a quick catch-up during a coffee break or commute. It’s a new approach for us, but one I can really see writers getting behind.”
