The winner of the competition for works in progress will be offered the chance to develop their work for publication
The contest from Myriad Editions is for a graphic novel in progress. It is open to any writer/artist who has not yet published a full-length graphic work. The work may be fiction or non-fiction, and may be a single-author work or a collaboration between writers and artists working as a team.
Myriad is an independent publisher committed to publishing work by contributors that reflect the diversity of our society.
The winner of the Myriad First Graphic Novel Competition will be invited to develop the work with Myriad's creative team with a view to being offered a contract and publication.
Enter between 15 and 30 pages of an original, unpublished graphic work in progress (in black and white or greyscale) and a synopsis.
There is an entry fee of £10 per graphic novel.
The closing date is 28 February.
