Writing for Adventures in Potty Training and Other Bathroom Mishaps can be humorous, serious or sentimental
Adventures in Potty Training and Other Bathroom Mishaps will be edited by Monkey Star Presspublisher Lisa Nolan (pictured) and Rachel Demas, who are both parent humour bloggers. Essays, blog posts, poems, lists and flash fiction on the subject of potty training between 700 and 2,000 words will be considered. All submissions must be mother/family-themed and may have been previously published.
Monkey Star Press is a new independent US publisher based in San Francisco Bay with a focus on memoir, mum-lit, parent humour and childcare. There will be an average payment after publication of $125 per single 1,000-word piece for this anthology.
The closing date is 30 June.
