The Indie Author Fringe Festival, a new event from the Alliance of Independent Authors, will take place on 17 April
Held at Foyles bookshop in London, the festival will be a day of talks, panel sessions, debates, performances, and one-to-one professional advice. It will feature leading author-publishers and publishing commentators. The event will be streamed live as part of global online self-publishing conference IndieRecon.
'ALLi launched at The London Book Fair in 2012 and I am so pleased that, three years on through London Book & Screen Week, produced by The London Book Fair, we are able to offer dedicated programming for independent-minded authors interested in self-publishing,' said Orna Ross, ALLi founder and director.
'This festival, and the IndieRecon online conference, is an exciting new way to celebrate and educate author-publishers, and connect them to each other, to other parts of the publishing industry including bookshops, and, most importantly, to readers.'
The Indie Author Fringe Festival is free to ALLi members and the first half is exclusively for ALLi members. Tickets for non-ALLi members cost £75.
