Writers are invited to send ideas for interviews, panels, writing workshops and more

Penzance Literary Festival will take place between 6 and 9 July, with contributors inclduing Rachel Joyce and Julie Myerson.

The theme of this year's festival is 'going underground'. Writers are asked to interpret this creatively and suggest ideas for author sessions and also events that would relate to the festival's creative writing strand.

Send a brief pitch, your book title if appropriate, a brief summary of what the talk would be about and a short biography.

Penzance Literary Festival is a small community festival which receives minimal grant funding, and cannot offer a fee to speakers, although it makes contributions towards travel costs and has a small fund for writers' workshops.
