Saltire Bursary 2016 invites applications from emerging minority ethnic voices in poetry, fiction or spoken word
The bursary has been created by the Scottish Book Trust in collaboration with The Saltire Society.
The recipient of Saltire Bursary: Discovering a New Voice 2016 will receive a £2,000 bursary, manuscript appraisal, meetings with a literary agent and publisher and reasonable travel expenses.
Applying writers must have completed a full-length work, must fulfil the eligibility criteria for Scottish Book Trust's New Writers Awards, and must belong to a minority ethnic group.
The closing date to apply for a Saltire Bursary is 14 September.
