Short story prize: Magical Encounter Writing Competition July 2016

The writing contest from The Creative Competitor asks writers to submit magical stories inspired by a picture

There is a first prize of £500, and further prizes of £300, £200 and £100.

All entries should involve a magical encounter. Imaginative interpretations are welcomed. Stories must be original and unpublished, and may be up to 1,500 words.

There is a £3.50 entry fee.

The closing date to enter the Magical Encounter Writing Competition is July 31.
