The two-week online course, from FutureLearn, teaches the key concepts necessary to write a screenplay
Writers who sign up for the free course, developed by the University of East Anglia will learn from screenwriter Michael Lengsfield, who teaches screenwriting at UEA.
The two-week Introduction to Screenwriting course, which starts on 8 May, explores the key concepts and basic principles of screenwriting, and will consist of a mixture of basic theory, script analysis and practical exercises.
There are no formal requirements for the course beyond an interest in screenwriting.
