Scottish Book Trust invites tasty tales and food-themed writing for its Book Week Scotland public participation campaign

Submissions for Nourish must be true stories about what 'nourish' means to the writer, and may be any kind of writing: story, poem, comic strip, play or letter. The maximum length is 1,000 words. Submissions may be in English, Scots or Gaelic.

All the submissions will be posted online, and selected stories will be published in an ebook on the Scottish Book Trust website for Book Week Scotland.

Entries must be by unpublished writers resident in Scotland.

The closing date to submit stories to Nourish is 7 June.
