Win a total of £750 in prizes for short stories and poetry
• The 2016 Short Story Competition is for original, unpublished stories on any theme up to 3,000 words. There are prizes of £200, £100 and £50, with a special Bedford Prize of £50 for the best story written by a Bedford resident. The entry fee is £5 per story (3 stories for £10).
• The 2016 Poetry Competition is for original, unpublished poems up to 40 lines on any theme. There are prizes of £200, £100 and £50. The entry fee is £5 per poem (3 poems for £10).
The closing date to enter the Bedford International Writing Competition is 30 September.
